The idea of the game is good but there is so many problems and it seems to be from not updating it to meet the current update. As everyone said the grid based can use problems for moving items but it also has problems when attacking enemys. On lvl 20 you are expected to stab the monster pumpkin in that small 1x10 room because if not the seeds will kill you. Huge problem, the rule of the grid base is anytime you press an arrow the character will move this can not be stopped. There is no other way to turn the character, this 1x10 room is a death room no matter what. Pumpkins are too fast for the player to make the correct movements of going left while the another pumpkin gos stright to you but you can not kill it because it leaves deathy seeds that can kill you. whatever happens is a lose, lose event. Too slow to attack both, bad room placement to do any recovery.

That is not the only time the new grid based update cause ths game to be unplayable, The magic orbs which have 4x4 view can kill you. the puzzle is to move the stone monsters while also not picking up the crystles. guess what happens, you cant because you are locked into picking it up. you can not win at the stage if you pick up the crystal before setting the stones up.

The game is broken, no one can win at this game.

The idea is nice but the code and art need work. Some places to land are impossable to see, did not know green stars are importent and sometimes it looks odd. The coding side really needs to be fix, i run no matter how slow i go, this causes me to hit spikes. Another annoying thing is the impossable stages, i try every thing but you can not pass it. You can walk off the stage and die which shouldent be a thing. Lastly no idea what to do and it could have helped.

EDIT: After playing it with cheat code, it become clear that the developer never wanted people to win at the game. Stages are not randomly generated like i thought, they were build like that and the player is just randomly sent to another stage. Another thing about it is that the stages are impossable to beat without extra time. You also can not beat the stages without immortaty on, there is a stage that is full of spikes at the end, not possable to jump over it.

This game wasnt build to be fair it was just build to make people lose.

It is too slow and it really isn't a shoot em up more like tower defence because you are protecting something. No music makes this playing not great either.

I got solf block because my health can't go back. I never knew there was a health bar because of the screen size. Since there was no explain of how the game is played i thought it was sonic ring rules where you lose gold and gain it back and not die but nope. now i only have like 1 hp that makes me die of everything.

its great but like everyone sad the combat needs improving. the dogs are hard to hit and they kill you more than anyone else. shooting needs to be better, it doesn't take that long to kill enemies in the main game with a gun. there's no backstab so that was little bit odd since it's a very helpful thing. And last there was no healing, even in the main game you get healing from common enemies.

This isnt build for older machines, i try t play it and it is so slow and it takes so much ram. It become unplayable.

it needs more work, players shouldn't be choosing to move or shoot. Random spawn does not help this game. The enemies look just like the player, i can not see creativity done on it. All in all, it needs work.

the concept is fine but i cant really call it a finish game, more of a demo. its very laggy which to my experience means you never optimize it to work on browser. screen size of 1280x720 is not needed when the game itself is lower than that. One thing i hated the most is how easy it is to just run away to the ending.

i needs more stuff and ways to stop people running to the end.

I played both games and it seems like you copy and paste the original game. There was no changes. You still put text on the ground, never added sound effects to upgrading stuff, no way to tell who is stronger, player needed to kill to go anywhere, etc. The music battle needs to change too, it does not fit well.

The game art is the only ting that works.

The only I will refute is about copy. This is not a copy but an upgrade, basically all this is what I first intend when I made the game, but had to cut a lot of things for the jam. That said I understand all the other points and thank you for your review :)

I'm a developer and a 3D artist, there's a lot of things I do know and don't know but thats why we are here right? The Unknowns Saga is the main game that I have continued to work on. It's not much but little by little the game will become something.
